I was employed and was also running my own business (not company). I injured myself at work (the place where I was employed).



Workcover covered me for the loss of wages from my empoyment but not my business because they said its not a company (i.e. pty ltd).



Question 1: If I make any earnings through my own business, do I have to declare it? If I declare it, they will deduct my weekly EML payments.

The various schemes in Australia all pay lump sum and dependants benefits to the dependant survivors. These vary in generosity.



Surprisingly though the NSW government has recently increased the no fault lump sum benefit to dependants of injured workers. The benefit was $331,250 but has been increased it to $425,000 which is very good. A claim can be made again for the difference if you have already  ...</description>

			<description>I received a letter from my claims manager asking me to attend medical appointments. It does not say its for a section 38 review or anything it just says it is to manage my claim.

I read somewhere I think it was on http://www.blognow.com.au/workcover something about this. I am worried that Workcover just want to put me under surveillance and just want me to go and see the doctors so they can film me turning up to the doctors and also just to get more eveidence about me.

I have been talking to others that have been injured at work and having problems with being on the Workers Rehabilitation and Compensation system.

We can't figure out what your definition of reasonable is and how it is determined.

Why will you not disclose what benchmarks have been set for assessing and determining the &quot;reasonableness&quot; of an employer's conduct?
